You can reach the property by car over the bridge or by a short ferry ride.

🛣️ Ways to Get Here

There are two options:

🚗 1. Arriving by car (recommended)

You can reach the cabin from Bergen / Åsane, Arna or Voss.
All routes lead to Highway 566 (Fv.566) and then towards Hamre on Osterøy.

🟩 From Bergen / Åsane

• Drive towards Osterøy.

• Cross the Osterøy Bridge (Osterøybrua).

• Continue straight in the direction of Hamre.

🟨 From Arna

• Drive towards Indre Arna.

• Take the local road towards the Osterøy Bridge.

• Cross the bridge and continue towards Hamre.

❄️ Winter road conditions

During winter, the roads may be icy and slippery, especially on the last kilometers along the fjord.
⚠️ Drive slowly and with caution. Winter tires are strongly recommended, and 4x4 can be helpful in snow or frost.

⚠️ Narrow road⚠️ Hamrenesvegen is a narrow road with limited passing areas.Please slow down, use pull-outs when meeting another vehicle, and keep a safe distance from the edge along the fjord.

🚢 2. Arriving by ferry (beautiful and relaxing)

The ferry connects Breistein (Mainland) with Valestrandsfossen (Osterøy).

• Drive to Breistein Ferry Terminal in Bergen.

• Take the ferry to Valestrandsfossen.

• The crossing takes around 10 minutes.

After arriving at Valestrandsfossen:

1. Follow the main road straight from the ferry terminal towards Hamre.

2. Continue along the fjord.

3. Turn onto Hamrenesvegen.

4. Drive until you reach house number 861.
